Our experiences of "building a home" had been limited to picking out paint colors and window treatments, so we were somewhat unprepared for doing a full custom build. Because of their experience, Christopher Scott was able to customize not only the home, but every step of the process itself. We involved ourselves in great detail with some aspects, and in others we could rely on them to come up with designs and features we knew we would love because they took the time to understand our tastes so well. They gave us the level of personalization and flexibility you expect with a small company, while maintaining a level of professionalism that came through in the quality of the construction. And the results speak for themselves. Functionality to work from home or operate a household, comfort to relax with family or host friends for dinner, all with the beauty to make you feel like you're on vacation every day, every season throughout the year.
Christopher Scott Homes (CSH) took our dreams of building a custom home and seamlessly turned them into reality. Our wish list included unique design and detail with high end, as well as utilitarian features to ensure creature comforts for both entertaining and everyday living. Our project was enhanced by choosing to use in house Architect Emily, which made the design through move-in process extremely well executed per the overall design scope. The genesis of our project was guided by an inspiration picture, however Emily found numerous ways to customize the exterior elevations and create interior floorpans to make it uniquely our own. After feeling completely confident in the home design, one can only imagine the excitement and anticipation for construction to begin. The execution was stellar. Thank you to Construction Manager Josh for your patience, skill and incredibly high standard in managing the entire building process. His oversight of the plethora moving parts and subcontractors, to the highest level of delivery are beyond compare, and deeply appreciated by these very precision oriented clients. Speaking of subcontractors, all of them demonstrate dedication, hard work and artistry which of course are demanded by CHS, because of their commitment to the highest standard in their field.
